The beginning
goodMix was born from a naturopath’s simple desire to create the healthiest breakfast cereal for her kids. What she ended up creating wasn’t just a delicious, super healthy cereal ‘alternative’ but a game changer for thousands of Australians suffering from gut issues. Blend11 became really popular, really quickly. People were feeling great (regular bowels, cholesterol dropping, better skin, better energy).
What started in the bulk bin at a local health food store quickly grew into weekend markets and a thriving online business. In November 2025, goodMix recorded the most successful Black Friday in its 12-year history, with online sales up 14% year-on-year and 56% compared to November 2023. Returning customers made up 75% of sales, while average order value climbed 13% on last year. Blend11 continues to lead this growth, with sales up 13% year-on-year and 51% over the past two years, as we’ve expanded the range and deepened trust with our community.
How Crowd-Sourced Funding Works
Crowd-sourced funding (CSF) is a relatively new form of fundraising in Australia that allows startups and small businesses to raise capital from a large number of retail & wholesale investors through an online platform.
Investors will hold shares directly in the company. All shares issued are new fully-paid ordinary shares, with voting rights.
Birchal campaigns typically begin with a non-binding Expression of Interest (EOI). During the EOI stage, you can learn about the company, ask questions directly to the founders, and register your interest to receive priority access to the upcoming CSF offer via the company’s Birchal profile.
Once the EOI closes, the formal CSF offer opens. At this stage, you can review the CSF Offer Document and, if you choose, apply for shares in the company.
At the end of the offer period, and provided the minimum subscription amount has been met, Birchal processes investor payments, issues the shares, and you officially become a shareholder in the company.
Once the EOI is closed, the company moves to the Offer stage. During this stage, you can review the key terms of the offer in the crowd-sourced funding offer document and, if you choose, apply for shares in the company.
If the company reaches its minimum funding target, the campaign is considered funded
There are usually two parts to every CSF offer campaign:
- Private phase:
This is an early access period available to investors who submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI). - Public phase:
The offer opens to all investors, regardless of whether they submitted an EOI.
If you’re interested in a company, submitting an EOI is recommended, as it gives you priority access during the private phase of the offer.
The amount you can invest in a CSF offer depends on whether you are considered a retail client or a wholesale client under the Corporations Act.
Retail clients can invest up to AUD $10,000 per company per year. Wholesale clients can invest more than AUD $10,000, with no cap. To qualify as a wholesale client, you must provide Birchal with evidence of your wholesale client status when you make your investment application.
For the purposes of the CSF regime, your status as a retail client or wholesale client will determine how much you can invest in a CSF offer.
A retail client can invest up to, and including, AUD $10,000 per company per year.
A wholesale client can invest over AUD $10,000, or any amount, in a company.
To be eligible to invest as a wholesale client, you will need to provide Birchal with evidence of your wholesale client status at the time of your investment application. This is typically an accountant’s certificate prepared within 6 months.

The goodmix mission
"To responsibly control and grow high-value food commodities that are sustainable, scalable, and genuinely make people feel better”
We believe that good health outcomes start with the food you eat, and we are passionate about making it simple, enjoyable and accessible for everyone to nourish and heal their bodies.
According to the CSIRO and Monash University, every year 50% of Australians experience gut health problems and 1 in 7 people is affected by IBS. Blend11 is clinically backed - certified Low FODMAP by Monash University and independently tested by the CSIRO for its impact on butyrate production - a short-chain fatty acid shown to be vital in supporting gut health and repair.
We’ve developed a product that actually works to support gut health. We now need to spread the word and get it into the hands of as many people as possible.
Investment & Growth
The capital raised will be primarily directed towards revenue generation through sales and marketing. We have minimal need for further operational investment or staffing, as the business concept and operational capacity are already proven.
This allows the vast majority of the funds to be strategically focused on scaling revenue through established, high-ROI marketing initiatives and expanding into new sales channels, both domestically and internationally.
The business is strategically positioned and ready for immediate, step-change growth with the incoming capital raise. Critically, we have no need for significant new hires, product development, or securing large, one-off contracts with trade partners. Everything necessary is already in place.
Our growth does not depend on figuring out any one-off, high-risk strategic elements. The capital raised will simply amplify our current, proven strategy, and we are highly confident this will enable the business to achieve its five-year plan.

Our Industry
The Australian health and wellness food and beverages market is currently valued at approximately AUD 13 billion, with projections to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.5% over the next 5–10 years.* This unprecedented growth is driven by rising consumer awareness of the role of the microbiome in overall health, as well as rising numbers of people experiencing GI issues.

goodMix & The opportunity
We’ve spent more than 12 years building goodMix into a proven business with strong brand equity and customer loyalty. Demand for our clinically backed, food-first gut health products has remained consistent, giving us a solid foundation for the next stage of growth.
Our recent performance highlights this momentum. November 2025 delivered the strongest Black Friday result in our history, with online sales up 56% compared to November 2023. Returning customers accounted for 75% of sales during the period, reflecting strong repeat purchase behaviour and trust in our brand.
Our business model has been validated across multiple channels, including retail, online direct-to-consumer (DTC), and our long-standing farmers’ market network. Over the past three to five years, we’ve tested and refined our marketing approach, resulting in stronger engagement, sales and a clear, proven pathway to scale.
Operating within the Australian health and wellness food sector, a market valued at approximately $13 billion, we are well-positioned to expand our reach. At this stage, additional capital would support the acceleration of initiatives already underway and enable us to reach more Australians with our clinically backed products.
goodMix is an established brand, not a pre-revenue startup or a new-to-market concept. Over a significant period, goodMix has demonstrated the ability to command a premium price point in the market with a well-established retail price, avoiding the need for heavy discounting.
Through operational optimisation and established supply chain purchasing power, goodMix achieves a sustainable and rewarding gross margin. As the business expands its revenue streams, we believe goodMix can deliver growth and scale without requiring significant additional overhead or head office staffing.

The business model
Our business model is already proven to work, which makes us different from a lot of other crowd fund investments. We have been running successfully for a considerable period, building consumer loyalty, strong brand equity and a broad reach to lots of different customers. We like to call ourselves a 10 year overnight success story.
We have a stable product portfolio that has a reliable supply chain, consistently high margins and a broad customer reach. The beauty of this is that our growth plans are already proven, they simply require more scale.
None of the high-risk elements normally associated with creating a business model are faced by goodMix. We do not need to innovate new products, create a brand, find a new market or hire a team. We are doubling down on our proven growth model… it’s that simple.
Returns, risk and leadership
CSF is a form of investment where people invest money in exchange for shares in a company. When someone invests through a CSF offer, they are purchasing shares in an unlisted company, meaning the shares are not traded on a public exchange like the ASX.
Investors, therefore, become shareholders (part-owners) of the company; however, liquidity differs from listed shares and typically occurs through future events such as dividends, acquisitions, buybacks, or an IPO.
All investments involve risk, and investing in goodMix as an unlisted company is no exception. A full description of these risks is set out in the Offer Document and should be reviewed carefully before making an investment.
Established Track Record:
goodMix is not a new concept or a start-up. The business has been operating for the past 10 years, demonstrating its ability to grow revenue and maintain customer loyalty.
Diversified Revenue Streams:
goodMix benefits from a broad and diversified revenue base, generated through farmers' markets, direct-to-consumer online sales, and a strong presence in retail outlets, including health food stores, major grocery chains, and pharmacies.
Product Stability and Focus:
The current product range is established and supported by existing demand. The business is focused on scaling products and channels that are already in market, rather than relying on the development of new brands or concepts.
goodMix is led by founders with a strong entrepreneurial background, supported by experience across consumer goods, revenue, marketing, and operations. The business has been built by a team deeply involved in both day-to-day execution and long-term direction.
Over more than 10 years of operating, goodMix has assembled a team with a strong understanding of the brand, its customers, and its position within the market. This experience has been developed through managing and growing the business across multiple channels, including retail, online direct-to-consumer, and farmers’ markets.
The business currently operates with an established and lean senior team. The existing structure and capability allow the team to focus on running and growing the business using systems and processes that are already in place, rather than relying on building out a large head office.
This approach enables capital raised through the offer to be directed toward supporting the growth of the business, rather than primarily toward recruitment. The leadership team remains actively involved in guiding the business and overseeing its operations as it continues to evolve.
Always consider the general CSF risk warning and offer document before investing.
