Tangy Citrus-Ginger Pondy

This smoothie provides a great dose of vitamin C & bioflavonoids (leave as much of the white part of your lemon & orange on as possible for maximum bioflavonoids), plus the warming anti-inflammatory benefits of ginger. Perfect carrier for Pondy (masks the taste nicely)!

Ingredients

1 Lemon peeled
1 orange peeled
1 knob of fresh ginger (to your taste)
1 Kiwi fruit whole (just take ends off)
1 apple
PondWater – 1-2 teaspoons
Ice if desired
1/2 – 1 cup of water if desired

Method

Peel the citrus (leaving as much as you can of the white pith intact).
Chop the ends off your kiwi fruit & remove apple core / stem (& peel if not using organic / spray free). Chop the fruit into halves / chunks for easy blending & throw it all in.

Mix and match the fruits to what you like and have in the house, great for anything getting a bit old, plus greens are pretty good in here too. Blend until nice & smooth, serve up chilled & enjoy!
